This release will affect all "non-customized" customers (i.e. customers that DO NOT have customizations to Astute Agent).
The full schedule for this release is as follows:
Non-production update – Wednesday, May 5th at 1:30 PM ET
Production update – Wednesday, June 16th at 1:30 PM ET
No downtime will occur as a result of this update.
Please refer to the Release Notes for a full list of changes which are posted on the Customer Portal.
IMPORTANT - Upcoming API Change
Please read carefully as there will be actions required for all customers using the Astute Agent (ePowerCenter) POX API
What is happening?
As part of the upcoming Astute Agent 11.0 release, additional security measures will be rolled out impacting the way the POX API is called. This will require any application calling the POX API to be updated to obtain and pass a session cookie. The change is detailed in the updated POX API guide posted on the customer center. This is a security measure that will continue to improve the safety and integrity of your data, which is of paramount importance to Astute and our customers.
Are you affected?
If you are using the Astute Agent (ePowerCenter) POX API, then you will need to make an update. YOU ARE NOT AFFECTED IF you are using the SOAP API. YOU ARE AFFECTED IF any of your POX API calls reference /PCAS/Request.aspx.
When will this happen?
These changes will be rolled out to the non-production environments on 5/5/2021 at 1:30 PM ET. They are scheduled for the production environments on 6/16/2021 at 1:30 PM ET. If you would like to participate in the testing, please contact your CSM.
What do you need to do?
In preparation for the upcoming change, we are requesting that customers identify any applications that currently call the Astute Agent POX API. If you are not sure what endpoint is being called, feel free to reach out to us with details of the call being made. Astute Support or your CSM can work internally to identify if the call will be impacted by this change. Please share this communication with your teams as needed.
